Stop
The project “STOP – If you can’t clean your surroundings, don’t make it dirty” a club service project was held on the 13th and 14th of September 2020 at the areas of Kotagala and Commercial-Hatton, as a part of the Titan games, initiated by Rotaract Club of Pearl island. RaCPCH created awareness on the usage of plastic, its ill-effects on our environment and how a small contribution as individuals would result in creating a plastic-pollution free world. Educational leaflets that highlighted the drawbacks of plastic/polythene usage were distributed. Facts about how recycling plastic would be more effective than the direct disposal of plastic in the environment were also shared.
